[Edaily Reporter An Yu-ri ] Pre-registration for "Raising Ghosts," an idle RPG (role-playing game) developed in-house by Mgame Corp.(058630), began on the 11th. It is an idle RPG developed in-house using the IP (intellectual property) of the online PC game "Ghosts."

While “Raising Ghosts” faithfully inherits core elements from the original—such as classes, martial arts, regions, and monsters—it reimagines the gameplay, shifting from a field-exploration-focused experience to a stage-based idle structure. It also offers a unique experience distinct from the original by incorporating a system where players grow alongside companions of various classes, a newly crafted story, and diverse dungeon content.

The main story follows the legendary warrior “Taehwa Nogun,” who lost everything due to the betrayal of his most trusted disciple, as he begins his journey of growth once again. Having lost his memories and martial arts skills, the protagonist regains his lost power through various growth activities and uncovers the truth behind a massive conspiracy threatening the Central Plains.

The class system, which builds upon the original, consists of six classes in total. In addition to the “Sword Dancer,” who wields intricate sword combos; the “Swordmaster,” who cleaves through enemy lines with a massive sword; and the “Assassin,” who exploits enemy weaknesses with swift footwork, players can enjoy distinct combat styles such as the “Throwing Assassin,” who pressures enemies with throwing weapons, the “Ice Master,” who immobilizes enemies with freezing martial arts, and the “Fire Master,” who sweeps across the battlefield with fiery martial arts—allowing players to enjoy distinct combat styles.

Pre-registration is available starting today through the “Raising Ghosts” pre-registration event page until the game’s official launch. Simply select AOS, iOS, or One Store and enter your mobile phone number. Players who pre-register through each respective app store will receive an additional “App Store Pre-registration Package” consisting of 1,000 Red Crystals, 500 Sealed Cores, and 40 Companion Summon Tickets.

Users who participate in pre-registration will receive 1,000 Red Crystals, 10,000 Gold, and 1 Entry Ticket Bundle, and those who join the official community will receive an additional 400 Equipment Enhancement Stones. Additionally, special reward items will be given out once a certain number of pre-registrations is reached. These reward items will be delivered to players’ inboxes after the official launch and can be claimed until December 31.

Lee Jae-chang, General Manager of “Raising Ghosts,” stated, “We’ve preserved the original game’s classes, martial arts, and worldview while redesigning the gameplay to be enjoyable without a time commitment.” He added, “This game will bring back fond memories for players who remember the original and offer new players an easy and comfortable experience of progression.”
