[KIM Hyun-sik, Edaily Reporter] BTS’s “SWIM” has continued its long-running popularity by charting on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 for 20 consecutive weeks.

BTS’s “SWIM” ranked No. 91 on the latest Billboard chart (dated August 15), released on the 11th.
"SWIM," the title track of their fifth studio album "ARIRANG," first entered the Hot 100 at No. 1 on the chart dated April 4 and has remained on the chart for 20 consecutive weeks. With this, “SWIM” has tied the record set by BTS’s previous hit “Butter,” released in 2021, for 20 consecutive weeks on the Hot 100. The BTS song that has spent the longest time on the Hot 100 is “Dynamite,” which charted for 32 consecutive weeks.
“SWIM” also performed strongly on global song charts, which aggregate music streaming and digital sales data from over 200 countries and regions worldwide. It ranked No. 4 on the Global (Excl. U.S.) chart and No. 12 on the Global 200 chart. On the Global (Excl. U.S.) chart, it has remained in the Top 10 for 20 consecutive weeks.
Another track from ‘ARIRANG,’ ‘Normal,’ ranked No. 24 on the Global (Excl. U.S.) chart and No. 49 on the Global 200 chart. The song has been regaining traction on the Billboard charts since its music video and Korean-language audio were released on the 17th of last month. It also reached No. 40 on the Pop Airplay chart, which tracks radio airplay.
A total of six tracks from “ARIRANG”—including “SWIM” and “Normal,” as well as “Body to Body,” “2.0,” “Hooligan,” and “Aliens”—made it onto the Global (Excl. U.S.) chart.
Meanwhile, 'ARIRANG' climbed one spot from the previous week to No. 14 on the main album chart, the Billboard 200. The album had previously topped the Billboard 200 for three consecutive weeks.
