POINT MOBILE Co., Ltd. announced on the 14th that it recorded consolidated revenue of 46.6 billion won, operating profit of 4.6 billion won, and net income of 6.2 billion won for the first half of this year. Revenue increased by 56.9% (16.9 billion won) compared to the same period last year, while operating profit and net income also rose by 7.2 billion won and 11.3 billion won, respectively, leading to a significant improvement in profitability, including a return to profitability. The cumulative results for the first half alone have already surpassed last year’s full-year performance. The upward trend in performance, which began in earnest in the first quarter of this year, continued at a rapid pace into the second quarter. Along with revenue growth, profitability was further strengthened, driving overall growth for the first half of the year. The key driver of this earnings growth is the substantial increase in supply volumes to “Amazon.” POINT MOBILE Co., Ltd. is expanding its product supply to Amazon sites worldwide, including its U.S. headquarters, as well as Europe, India, the Middle East, and Japan. Additionally, increased supply of warehouse and logistics products to “Zabka,” Poland’s largest retail company, also contributed to revenue growth. POINT MOBILE Co., Ltd. explained, “Supply volumes are surging due to the expansion of Amazon NOW and Quick Commerce businesses,” adding, “The use cases for our devices are rapidly expanding beyond fulfillment centers to various applications in the last-mile (final delivery) stage.” The spokesperson continued, “Starting in 2026, the ‘TR54’ model began full-scale deployment at ‘Whole Foods,’ a U.S. retail chain,” and “We have received orders for and delivered more than 10,000 Ring Scanner ‘PM5’ units in the U.S. and Japanese markets, and supply volumes for our flagship products, the ‘PM86’ and ‘PM560,’ have also increased significantly, driven by synergies from our global market diversification,” he added. The outlook for the second half of the year is also positive. The company stated that it is in the process of securing additional project orders from Amazon and that the adoption rate of terminals in the U.S. last-mile service sector is accelerating. In particular, as the new ‘PM84P’ model is expected to be adopted for a replacement project involving approximately 400,000 units currently in use at existing logistics centers, the company anticipates that sales to Amazon alone will exceed at least 45 billion won this year. POINT MOBILE Co., Ltd. will make a full-scale entry into the defense and public safety sectors in the second half of the year, starting with a supply contract for the Turkish National Police. The company plans to position the military operations and public safety communications equipment business as a new growth engine and solidify its foothold in the global defense market through concrete discussions with leading overseas operators.
