[Edaily Reporter Park Jung-Soo ] WINHITECH CO., Ltd.(192390), a high-tech construction solutions company specializing in Off-Site Construction (OSC), announced on the 19th that it has signed a contract with the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) for the construction of new youth housing under a purchase agreement. The contract is valued at 38 billion won, which accounts for approximately 51% of the company’s annual revenue of 75.1 billion won last year. Construction is scheduled to begin in the second half of this year, with completion targeted for September 2028.
This project involves the construction of urban public rental housing in the Jemulpo-gu area of Incheon Metropolitan City. It follows a model in which LH secures housing developed by the private sector through a purchase agreement and then supplies it to end users.
With this contract win, WINHITECH CO., Ltd. plans to strengthen its capabilities as a comprehensive construction firm, moving beyond the manufacturing and supply of construction materials such as deck plates. The company has accumulated experience in construction management, safety, and quality control by executing large-scale private infrastructure and public projects, as well as new logistics center construction and government-funded construction projects.
The company is expanding its business scope to become a total construction solutions provider covering the entire project lifecycle—from business planning and development to project management (PM), construction, and completion. It plans to integrate its proprietary high-tech construction materials with Off-Site Construction (OSC) technology to shorten construction periods, improve construction quality and safety, and enhance cost competitiveness.
The company also plans to diversify its business portfolio by integrating the technological competitiveness of its construction materials manufacturing business with its construction capabilities and development projects. It intends to pursue phased development of its current real estate assets to increase asset value and profitability.
