Member G-Dragon participated in writing the lyrics and composing the track. Their agency, YG Entertainment (YG), stated, "'BiiiG' is a high-energy hip-hop track featuring a majestic beat and an addictive hook," adding, "It blends G-Dragon’s sharp rap with Taeyang and Daesung’s groovy yet powerful vocals." Big Bang, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, chose their debut anniversary (August 19) as the release date, adding special significance to this comeback. On that day, YG posted a 20th-anniversary video chronicling Big Bang’s career journey on its official social media channels. BIGBANG will kick off their 20th-anniversary world tour, “XX: COSMOS,” over three days from the 21st to the 23rd at the Main Stadium of the Goyang Sports Complex. The tour will consist of a total of 33 shows across 19 cities worldwide.
