On the 19th, a representative from Studio Dragon told E-Daily, "Lee Soo-hyuk has left *Men of the Harem* due to scheduling conflicts." “Men of the Harem” is based on the Naver web novel by author Alpha Tart. It is a palace romance fantasy that follows the story of Empress Latil of the Empire as she brings in male concubines to secure her hold on the imperial throne. Studio Dragon is producing the series, with director Lee Eung-bok—known for *Descendants of the Sun*, *Goblin*, *Mr. Sunshine*, and *Sweet Home*—at the helm, and writer Hwang Jin-young (*Lovers*) serving as the screenwriter. Suzy has been cast as the lead character, Latil. Lee Soo-hyuk was originally scheduled to appear as one of Latil’s male concubines. The cast also includes Shin Seung-ho, Dex, Kim Dan, and Yoo Jung-hoo. Meanwhile, while there were reports that Lee Jong-won would take over the role vacated by Lee Soo-hyuk, Studio Dragon stated that the matter is “under discussion.”
