[Edaily Reporter PARK MIN ] NH INVESTMENT & SECURITIES(005940)announced that its Integrated Investment Account (IMA) product, “N2, IMA1 Mid-Term Type No. 3,” which began accepting subscriptions on the 18th, sold out early, reaching its target subscription amount of 120 billion won in just one day. Although the original subscription deadline was set for 3:00 p.m. on August 24, the offering closed ahead of schedule.
This early sell-out is interpreted as the result of high investor interest in a more favorable return structure, following an increase in the performance-based benchmark rate from 4.0% per annum to 4.5% per annum.
IMA is a financial product available exclusively to mega-sized comprehensive financial investment firms with equity capital of 8 trillion won or more. A key feature is that NH INVESTMENT & SECURITIES guarantees the return of principal if the investment is held until maturity, even if losses occur during the management process.
Backed by NH INVESTMENT & SECURITIES—which holds an AA+ credit rating, the highest in the domestic securities industry—the product is structured to pursue returns through selective investments in high-quality investment banking assets, and has consistently attracted interest from investors seeking ways to manage their surplus funds over the medium term.
Bae Kwang-soo, CEO of NH INVESTMENT & SECURITIES, stated, “This third mid-term fund received a strong response from customers thanks to improved terms, such as an increase in the benchmark return rate for performance-based fees, leading us to close the subscription period earlier than planned.” He added, “We will continue to introduce IMA products that offer favorable return structures for customers and demonstrate stable management capabilities.”
