[E-Daily Reporter Shin Ha-yeon ] PLANTYNET Co., Ltd.(075130) announced on the 20th that its subsidiary, PlantyM, has signed a contract with Naver to supply magazine content for artificial intelligence (AI) search and applications.
Under this agreement, PlantyM will supply magazine content from its digital magazine platform “Moajin” to Naver’s newly revamped “AI Search and Knowledge Encyclopedia Service.” Moajin is a digital magazine platform that offers approximately 2,400 magazines from around the world across various fields—including fashion and beauty, current affairs and business, sports, and kids and teens—via mobile and PC. It maintains an archive of past articles and secures new magazine content published monthly.
The service features “My Feed,” an AI-based content recommendation system tailored to individual interests, as well as AI article summarization, real-time AI translation into 20 languages, and a text-to-speech function. Recently, the company has been expanding its distribution channels to include content benefits offered through domestic telecom carriers’ rate plans, as well as corporate employee training and welfare services.
With this agreement, PlantyM plans to continuously supply newly published magazine content each month and build a content data ecosystem with Naver necessary for AI search and utilization. The company emphasizes that this marks the first time the value of magazine content—researched and written by professional editors—has been recognized as refined data suitable for AI services.
PLANTYNET Co., Ltd. official stated, “This agreement is deeply significant as it marks the first instance confirming the value of Moazine’s magazine content as refined information,” adding, “Starting with this partnership with Naver, we plan to expand our collaboration with various companies to build a high-quality data ecosystem essential for the AI era.”
