[Edaily Reporter Kim Hyung-il ] Eunseong FA, a subsidiary of KNS CO., LTD(432470)—a company specializing in high-tech industrial automation—announced on the 24th that it has appointed an engineer with experience at a global corporation as an inside director and is moving to expand its data center automation equipment business.

Eunseong FA specializes in high-speed terminal insertion automation equipment for semiconductors and automotive electronics. Through this recruitment, the company plans to strengthen its engineering capabilities and enhance its responsiveness to new markets, such as data centers.

The newly appointed executive director is an engineer with a track record of developing new equipment and software, as well as handling sales and expanding global networks at both domestic and international companies. The company explained that he possesses experience in equipment development grounded in mechanical engineering, as well as a proven ability to develop new equipment tailored to customer needs.

In particular, the new executive director has led various projects at HANWHA AEROSPACE (formerly SamsungTechwin), Saki Corporation—a Japanese manufacturer of automated inspection equipment for electronic modules—and a global electrical and electronic components company (Company T).

Eunseong FA plans to leverage the new executive director’s experience not only in its existing semiconductor and automotive electronics automation equipment but also in its recently launched data center automation equipment business. In particular, the company intends to utilize his expertise in press-fit pin insertion equipment to drive product development and market expansion for data center-related equipment.

In fact, Eunseong FA recently entered this market by securing an order from a major domestic company for bus duct automation equipment for an artificial intelligence (AI) data center in the United States.

Bus ducts are power distribution systems used in large-scale facilities, such as data centers, to supply power to various pieces of equipment. They are one of the core pieces of equipment that ensure a stable supply of the high-capacity power required by data centers.

Eunseong FA anticipates that demand for bus ducts will increase as the construction of AI data centers expands. With this new hire, the company plans to cultivate data center automation equipment as a new growth area, alongside its existing semiconductor and automotive electronics automation equipment.

A KNS CO., LTD official stated, “We expect this recruitment to elevate our engineering capabilities to the next level,” adding, “Following our success with high-speed terminal insertion automation equipment for semiconductors and automotive electronics, we will continue to achieve meaningful results in the data center market as well.”
