(Photo courtesy of DENTIS CO.,LTD) Southeast Asia is a market where demand for dental care and implants is expanding in line with economic growth and the advancement of healthcare services. In particular, the Vietnamese dental market is projected to grow at an average annual rate of 4.75%, reaching $5.5 billion by 2030 from approximately $4.21 billion in 2024. DENTIS CO.,LTD’s strategy centers on its local subsidiaries to expand not only product supply but also academic, educational, and clinical networks.
On the 13th, the company hosted a live webinar for Vietnamese clients on the topic of “Immediate Implant Placement Using the AXEL Application.” Dr. Kim Jae-yun, Director of Yeonsu Seoul Dental Clinic, served as the presenter and introduced clinical cases utilizing the premium “AXEL” implant. Conducted in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City Central Hospital with simultaneous interpretation, the webinar attracted approximately 200 concurrent viewers despite being a paid event.
The company is also expanding its business foundation in Vietnam. The Vietnamese subsidiary, established last year, has entered a phase of full-scale business expansion this year, and in June, it completed the local regulatory approval process for AXEL. As a result, the company can now supply high-value-added implants locally, in addition to its existing equipment and solutions.
This coming December, DENTIS CO.,LTD plans to further expand its engagement with local medical professionals. DENTIS CO.,LTD will host the “DENTIS Meeting & AXEL Launch Symposium” on December 2 in Ho Chi Minh City and on December 4 in Hanoi, inviting approximately 300 medical professionals from Vietnam, India, the United States, and other countries. The Ho Chi Minh City event will also offer local Continuing Medical Education (CME) certification.
In Thailand, DENTIS CO.,LTD held the “DENTIS MEETING” in Bangkok on the 8th, showcasing its key products to over 100 local dentists. The company presented a comprehensive solution ranging from implants—including AXEL and SQ implants, as well as SQUVA, OVIS, and LUVIS Chair—to biomaterials and dental equipment. DENTIS CO.,LTD plans to expand its local customer reach and brand awareness through its Thai subsidiary, established last year.
DENTIS CO.,LTD official stated, “Southeast Asia is a key growth market where demand for dental healthcare services and implants continues to expand,” adding, “Centered on our local subsidiary, we will further expand product supply and academic and educational activities to broaden our engagement with the market, and accelerate global business growth in major Southeast Asian markets, including the launch of AXEL in Vietnam.”
