[E-Daily Reporter Kim Hyun-ah ] SKTelecom(017670)announced on the 25th that it has launched the “Galaxy Quantum 7,” a dedicated device featuring near-flagship-level performance and a slim design. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is 717,200 won.

Measuring 6.9 mm thick and weighing 179 g, the Galaxy Quantum 7 is the thinnest and lightest model in the Quantum series. SKTelecom explained that it has enhanced AI capabilities, fast charging, and camera performance while improving portability.

This model features the newly added “Voice Transcript Assist,” which converts voice files into text and supports translation. It also supports Google’s “Circle to Search,” “Best Face” (which selects the best expression from photos taken with Motion Photo), and “AI Eraser” (which removes or fills in elements in photos).

Camera performance has also been improved. For the first time in the Galaxy A series, the device features a function that reduces noise in low-light environments to enhance the clarity of photos and videos. The water and dust resistance rating has been upgraded to IP68.

Charging performance has also been enhanced. The device supports 45W fast charging. SKTelecom emphasized that while the device offers near-flagship-level performance and AI features, it has set the suggested retail price at 717,200 won to enhance its price competitiveness.

The Galaxy Quantum 7 is available at SKTelecom’s official online store, T Direct Shop, and at T World stores nationwide. It comes in three colors: Awesome Gray, Awesome Ice Blue, and Awesome Lilac. The Awesome Lilac color is available exclusively at T Direct Shop.

SKTelecom is also running a promotional campaign to celebrate the launch. From today through the 7th of next month, all customers who purchase the Galaxy Quantum 7 will receive a two-month subscription to YouTube Premium and two free coupons for Mega MGC Coffee.

T Direct Shop will award 30,000 won worth of Naver Pay points to the first 1,500 customers who make a purchase between today and the 23rd of next month. All customers who make a purchase will receive a T Gift containing coupons worth 30,000 won that can be used at Olive Young, Musinsa, and other retailers.
