[Edaily Reporter Park Jung-Soo ] System semiconductor fabless company Zinitix Co.,Ltd.(303030)has established an AI subsidiary in China and is entering the AI server and high-performance networking infrastructure markets.
Zinitix Co.,Ltd. announced on the 25th that it has established a wholly-owned subsidiary, “Zinitix IntelliCompute Technology Co., Ltd.,” in Foshan, China.
The new subsidiary plans to supply AI computing servers, edge computing devices, high-performance networking equipment, and related semiconductors. Zinitix Co.,Ltd. intends to expand its business scope by adding AI computing and network infrastructure to its existing system semiconductor business.
The new business will operate under an “asset-light” model, focusing on product planning and customer support while partnering with external specialists for production and assembly. The strategy aims to reduce the initial burden of capital investment while securing cost and delivery competitiveness by leveraging local manufacturing and supply chains in China.
The newly established subsidiary plans to supply AI hardware—including “AI Book,” “AI Box,” and high-performance computing servers—as well as industrial control systems and smart DEVICES. It will also pursue software initiatives, such as AI smart glasses solutions for use in manufacturing and logistics settings, and on-premises AI knowledge management systems based on internal corporate data.
Zinitix Co.,Ltd. will leverage the design technologies—such as touch ICs, haptic driver ICs, and power management ICs (PMICs)—and its global business network, accumulated through its existing system semiconductor business, for these new ventures.
The company plans to secure new customers and revenue streams by targeting key markets—including smart factories, smart cities, educational and research institutions, public agencies, and corporations—based on its local manufacturing and supply chain in China.
Zinitix Co.,Ltd. stated, “Through the establishment of this subsidiary, we plan to expand our business scope from our existing system semiconductor business into the fields of AI hardware, networking, and system integration,” adding, “We will leverage an asset-light business structure and local supply chains to expand our customer base and revenue streams.”
