Sky E-WORLD Wins Contract to Upgrade LG Uplus’s NRAP

[Edaily Reporter Park Jung-Soo ] Sky Worldwide (Bitnine Co, Ltd.(357880)), a provider of AI agents and database (DB) solutions, has been awarded a contract to enhance LG Uplus’s real-time network analysis platform.
Sky Worldwide announced on the 26th that it will carry out LG Uplus’s “Real-time Network Analysis Platform (NRAP·Network Real-time Analytic Platform) Enhancement Project” based on its proprietary database management system (DBMS), “AgensSQL.”
NRAP is a real-time network analytics platform that LG Uplus built in preparation for the commercial launch of 5G. It collects, stores, and analyzes hundreds of types of data—including traffic, call quality, and fault logs—generated by base stations, switches, core networks, and mobile devices nationwide in real time, and transmits this data to the Network Management System (NMS).
In telecommunications networks, large volumes of data—including base station status, terminal connection information, traffic volume, quality of service (QoS), and fault logs—are generated in real time. According to the company, the volume of data processed reaches hundreds of terabytes (TB).
This project involves redesigning NRAP’s existing database environment and architecture to be PostgreSQL-based, in accordance with LG Uplus’s PostgreSQL standardization policy.
SkyWorldWide will supply AgenSQL, a PostgreSQL-based enterprise DBMS, and provide technical support and consulting for the database migration. The plan is to minimize data loss and accelerate response times to network failures by supporting the storage, management, and high-speed querying of large-volume logs generated by the telecommunications network.
AgensSQL supports stable transaction processing, as well as high availability (HA), replication, partitioning, and parallel processing. Through this, SkyWorldWide plans to provide a database environment capable of handling large-scale data and a high number of concurrent connections.
The company plans to use this contract as an opportunity to establish a track record in processing massive-scale real-time telecommunications data and to expand the scope of its PostgreSQL-based database business. Going forward, it plans to target data platform markets that require high availability and stability, including the public sector, finance, manufacturing, AI data centers, cloud computing, and security.
Shin Jae-hyuk, CEO of SkyWorldWide, stated, “This contract win signifies that AgenSQL, based on the open-source PostgreSQL, has been recognized for its stability and performance even in the ultra-large-scale real-time data environment of a leading domestic telecommunications carrier.” He added, “Building on this project, we will expand our business into mission-critical data platform markets such as the public sector, finance, and manufacturing.”
He added, “Based on the large-scale data processing track record we’ve established through this project, we plan to expand our business scope into data platform markets that require high availability and stability, such as AI data centers, cloud computing, security, and finance.”
