So-yeon made her official debut in 2017 with the single “Jelly” and has been active as a member of iZ*ONE since the following year. This marks her first official solo release in 5 years and 2 months since she released her first mini-album, “Windy.” So-yeon recently appeared at the music festival “Waterbomb Sokcho 2026,” where she generated buzz by previewing the album tracks “STAR” and “I Hate Vegetables Song.” On that day, Soyeon released the intro film for her first album via iKON’s official social media channels. The approximately 5-minute video features Soyeon, celebrating her last birthday in her 20s, reflecting on the journey she has taken while pursuing her dream of becoming a singer. In her narration, Soyeon said, “When I look back on this album as a grandmother, I think I’ll say, ‘Ah, that was so romantic,’” and asked fans to look forward to the new release.
