Two European Tours in Just Three Years Since Debut… The Global Foundation Built by Lunate

"Beyond the Moon" Finale in Lisbon Expanding Local Fan Base in Europe, Continuing the Trend from Last Year “We’ll meet again and have an even better time”

[Edaily Starin YUN GI BACK Reporter] The group LUN8 has completed a tour of eight European cities, demonstrating its expanded reach in the international concert market. While last year’s inaugural European tour showcased their potential, this year’s second tour—on a larger scale—has helped them deepen their connection with local fans.

According to their agency, Fantagio, LUN8 held the final concert of their second European tour, “BEYOND THE MOON,” in Lisbon, Portugal, on the 25th (local time). Starting in Warsaw, Poland, the tour visited a total of eight cities, including Amsterdam, Netherlands; London, UK; Cologne and Munich, Germany; Budapest, Hungary; Paris, France; and finally Lisbon, Portugal.
It is particularly noteworthy that the group, now in its third year since debut, has continued to tour Europe for two consecutive years. Following their first European tour, “2025 THE BEGINNING: LUN8 SHOW[K]ASE TOUR,” in May of last year, LUN8 returned to European audiences after about a year. This marks a shift from one-off overseas performances to a phase of solidifying their local fanbase through repeated tours.
Lisbon, where the tour concluded, was the first city LUN8 visited for a solo concert. They opened the show with high-energy tracks like “BACK,” “Nauty,” and “XX,” then shifted the mood in the second half with bright and upbeat songs, showcasing their diverse musical palette.
They also performed “SNEAKERS,” the title track from their fourth mini-album released last month. As Takuma, Junwoo, and Ian participated in creating the signature choreography for this song, the performance—which featured greater member involvement—highlighted their even stronger teamwork.
They also made an effort to connect with local fans. The members split into teams to play a “song guessing” game and even took on a Portuguese language challenge themselves. By actively incorporating talk segments and games alongside their songs and performances, they created an event where they truly shared the stage with local fans.
Through their agency, LUNATE shared their thoughts: “This was our first visit to Portugal, and our first impressions were so joyful and happy,” adding, “Thank you for making the finale of our European tour so exciting. If we come back, we want to create an even more enjoyable time.”
Lunate is rapidly gaining performance experience both domestically and internationally this year. Following their first solo fan concert, “OFF-ZONE,” held in Seoul recently—marking their first such event three years after their debut—they immediately embarked on a tour of eight European cities. This move is significant as it translates the attention gained from their album promotions into actual live performances and a dedicated fanbase.
In particular, for rookie-level K-pop groups, overseas tours serve as a litmus test to directly gauge the size and longevity of their fanbase. Having performed on European stages for two consecutive years, Lunate is now moving beyond their “first foray into the international market” and steadily building markets where they can return. It remains to be seen whether the performance experience they’ve accumulated in their third year since debut will serve as a foundation for their future global activities.
