Global e-commerce platform Cafe24 Corp. announced that it will host “Cafe24 Creator Step Up 2026 (Cafe24 CREATOR STEP UP 2026),” a commerce conference for creators, on September 10 at the CCC Cube Convention Center in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul.
This event will cover stage-by-stage business strategies necessary for creators—who have primarily focused on content production—to expand their activities into e-commerce. It consists of a total of nine sessions, ranging from getting started in e-commerce, product sourcing, and building an online store, to the planning, production, and launch of private label (PB) products; OEM and ODM manufacturing; brand collaborations; content IP marketing; and growth through advertising.
Turning Fan Bases into Revenue… Sharing Creators’ Success Stories
Creators who have expanded their businesses into e-commerce by leveraging the fanbase they built through content will serve as speakers.
“Gonggu Wang Hwang Bu-jang,” known for group-buying review content, will share the experience and know-how of growing their e-commerce business, starting with product sourcing. “Ms. Youngja’s Kitchen,” a creator known for cooking content, will share the process of developing recipe content into private label products and launching them on their own online store.
In a session featuring beauty creator “Shin-nim,” the process of bringing a product bearing her own name to market—from brand collaboration proposals to product launch and sales—will be covered.
Case studies of collaborations between creators, manufacturers, and brands will also be presented. Hanil Stainless will explain how the expertise showcased in content translates into actual product planning and production, based on its collaboration with cooking creator Kim Milan.
Manufacturing and Brand Experts Also Participate… On-Site Consultations Held
In addition to the creators’ experiences, strategies from experts in various fields will be presented to support business execution.
Speakers include Eom Seung-ri, Section Head of the Cafe24 Corp. Content Commerce Team; Koh Young-min, Team Leader of the Marketing Center; Kim Yong-seok, CEO of Support Mall; Lee Jin-gil, CEO of Fulix; and Park Geon-hee, General Manager of Studio Episode. Topics to be covered include methods for boosting sales after launching an online store, product manufacturing using OEM and ODM, brand growth through content IP, and growth strategies for ad-based commerce.
On-site consultations and networking sessions will be held between presentations. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss challenges they face throughout the e-commerce business process—from identifying products to pair with their content, through production, to post-sales growth—with experts. They can also explore collaboration opportunities by interacting with creators from other fields and industry professionals.
Lee Jae-seok, CEO of Cafe24 Corp., stated, “The content and expertise that creators have built up can serve as a starting point for new businesses in and of themselves,” adding, “Cafe24 Corp. will support creators as they take on new challenges—moving beyond simply creating content to building their own businesses.”
