[Edaily Reporter Han Kwangbeom ] On the 27th, as the Ministry of Science and ICT conducted a presentation evaluation (PT) for the "AI for All" project—a public AI infrastructure initiative— KTCorporation(030200). revealed its vision for public AI services to be implemented in collaboration with participating companies.

To build a general-purpose AI ecosystem, KTCorporation has formed a consortium with major platform companies, including the Daum portal, Musinsa, Zigbang, EBS, Masspresso (Qanda), BC Card, ConnectWave, DeepSearch, and SALTLUX Inc. The combined user base of the participating companies totals more than 60 million.

The KTCorporation consortium’s “AI for Everyone” will be available as a dedicated app and via the web. It is structured around a general-purpose Agent AI that understands users’ questions and intentions, seamlessly connecting specialized services across sectors such as public services, education, finance, shopping, and housing.

The core concept is a “channel-agnostic AI experience.” Users can naturally access the same AI features within the services they already use—such as the Daum portal, KTCorporation Genie TV, and channels of consortium-participating platforms—without having to install a separate, new dedicated app.

Another strength is the personalized, memory-based, action-oriented agent functionality. With the user’s consent, the system remembers past consultations, schedules, and interests to help solve actual tasks beyond simple searches. In the housing sector, for example, it recommends homes that match specific criteria based on Zikbang’s listing information and proactively guides users through follow-up administrative procedures—such as registering a change of address, updating mailing addresses, and transferring utility accounts—after signing a lease.

In the education sector, it provides concept explanations tailored to a child’s age and learning level, along with relevant content from EBS and Kwanda, as well as 3D visualization materials. For small business owners, it handles everything in one go—from analyzing the causes of declining sales to providing guidance on customized policy support and verifying required documents.

In terms of technical infrastructure, the platform integrates multiple domestically developed, proprietary foundation models, including Upstage (Solar), Motif Technologies (Motif), SALTLUX Inc. (LUXIA), NC AI (VARCO), and KTCorporation (Mideum). It also extensively incorporates the specialized capabilities of domestic AI companies, such as Rebellion’s domestically developed NPU and GPU optimization technologies from LabUp and Vessel AI.

KTCorporation plans to encourage the ongoing participation of competitive new AI models and specialized services, while also expanding GPU resource support, investment, and business collaboration with domestic AI companies. At the same time, it will combine online and offline capabilities—such as KTCorporation’s nationwide distribution network and IT Supporters—to provide on-site support for digitally vulnerable groups and enhance accessibility features, including large text, simplified mode, voice input/output, and multilingual support.

Lee Jin-hyung, Head of KTCorporation’s AX Business Division (Senior Vice President), stated, “‘AI for Everyone’ will not remain a single, static service but will expand to various points of daily interaction used by the public.” He added, “We will broaden opportunities for domestic AI models, NPUs, and specialized companies to be chosen by the public, and create a virtuous cycle where the South Korean AI ecosystem grows alongside increased public use of AI.”
