[Edaily Reporter LEE SEON-WOO ] The "Seoul International Medical Tourism Travel Mart" (SITMMT 2026) will be held on the 8th and 9th at the Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel (2nd floor) in Jangchung-dong, Jung-gu. Organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Tourism Foundation, this is the eighth edition of the B2B (business-to-business) event aimed at attracting high-value-added medical tourists.

The event, featuring approximately 300 domestic organizations and companies—including those in the beauty and wellness sectors, specialized travel agencies, and local districts—will also welcome around 70 overseas organizations and companies for two days of B2B consultations. The program includes familiarization tours to medical facilities and briefings on Seoul’s medical tourism offerings. Notably, this year’s event will be linked with the “World Chuna Festival,” featuring promotional booths for Chuna therapy experiences and related lectures.
Last year, SITMMT saw participation from 358 domestic and international organizations and companies, resulting in contracts worth approximately 57.4 billion won. Last year, Seoul welcomed 1.76 million foreign patients for medical treatment, surgery, convalescence, and wellness purposes, setting a new all-time record.
