[Edaily Starin Reporter YUN GI BACK ] Singer Lim Young-woong shared a special moment with the audience at “The Age of Heroes,” which filled a stadium to capacity, to mark the 10th anniversary of his debut.

On the 5th, the second day of Im Young-woong’s “IM HERO - THE STADIUM 2” concert took place at the Main Stadium of the Goyang Sports Complex in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.
Taking the stage that day, Lim Young-woong felt the cheers of the fans filling the venue with his whole body. In particular, he removed his in-ear monitors to listen to the cheers pouring from the audience, taking a moment to fully savor the fans’ voices.
In response to the passionate cheers, Im Young-woong laughed and marveled at the fans’ enthusiasm, saying, “Are you competing with the people who came yesterday? The cheers are more than twice as loud as yesterday.”
He then connected naturally with the audience, saying, “Welcome to the ‘I’m Hero – The Stadium 2’ concert. The weather is incredible again today. Isn’t it so refreshing?” He also drew laughter from the audience with a witty remark: “If you’re a little cold, just dance along; if you’re hot, just sit still.”
He also highlighted the “privileges” unique to the second day’s performance. Lim Young-woong said, “While the first show has its own perks, the second day has its own too,” adding with confidence, “My voice is completely warmed up from yesterday’s performance, so I’m going to sing like crazy today.”
He also shouted, “I’m going to sing every song from my new album while I’m in such great shape. Are you ready to have fun with me again today?” and the audience erupted in loud cheers once more.
This stadium concert held special significance for Lim Young-woong, who is celebrating the 10th anniversary of his debut this year.
Lim Young-woong shared his feelings with the fans, saying, “This year marks the 10th anniversary of my debut,” and added, “It’s an honor and a joy to spend this special day in a special place with you all—who are more special than anyone else.”
He also personally explained why he chose his debut song, “I Hate You,” to open the concert. “I played ‘I Hate You’ as the first song,” he said, “and I took the stage with the mindset of making my debut all over again, reminiscing about 10 years ago.”
He also confessed that even though 10 years have passed, his excitement for his fans remains unchanged. Lim Young-woong said, “The one thing that hasn’t changed, whether then or now, is that I get excited on the way to meet you all,” drawing a passionate cheer from the audience.
The “I’m Hero – The Stadium 2” concert continues through tomorrow (the 6th).
