According to Box Office Mojo on the 7th, “Spider-Man 4” has surpassed $900 million in cumulative North American box office revenue. Its worldwide cumulative box office revenue stands at approximately $2.4 billion, surpassing director James Cameron’s “Avatar: The Way of Water.”
As a result, “Spider-Man 4” has secured the third spot on the all-time global box office chart, following “Avatar” and “Avengers: Endgame.” Building on its steady box office performance since its release, the film has also set a significant milestone in the global box office rankings.
The film is also enjoying a long-running success in South Korea. Even in its sixth week of release, “Spider-Man 4” continues to draw steady audiences, surpassing 8.79 million cumulative viewers.
Notably, no film in the “Spider-Man” series has yet surpassed 9 million viewers in South Korea. Consequently, attention is focused on whether “Spider-Man 4” will become the first in the series to break the 9 million mark.
“Spider-Man 4” is an action blockbuster in which Peter Parker—forgotten by everyone following the events of “Spider-Man: No Way Home”—is plunged into even deeper turmoil by the appearance of a mysterious enemy who remembers his true identity and by DNA mutations that grant him uncontrollable powers. He must face new threats to protect those he loves. The film stars Tom Holland, Zendaya Coleman, and Sadie Sink.
