[Edaily Reporter Kim Hyung-il ] L&C Bio ( L&C BIO(290650)), a company specializing in human tissue regenerative medicine, announced on the 8th that it introduced “Re2O,” a human tissue-based extracellular matrix (ECM) solution currently awaiting local approval, at an international aesthetic medicine conference held in Bangkok, Thailand.

L&C BIO participated in “ASLS BANGKOK 2026 (Aesthetic Surgery & Laser Society),” held at the Avani+ Riverside Bangkok Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, from the 2nd to the 3rd. The event was attended by medical professionals from Korea, Thailand, and other Southeast Asian countries, as well as domestic and international companies in the aesthetic and medical device sectors.

At its exhibition booth, L&C BIO introduced “Lituo” and “Lituo Fine,” sharing product features and clinical application cases. Lituo is a product made from human-derived acellular dermis (hADM) that has not undergone differentiation, offering an ECM-based skin remodeling approach that differs from existing hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers or conventional biostimulators.

The academic program featured presentations on the clinical value and applications of ECM therapy using Lituo. On the 2nd, Dr. Shin Dong-woo of Navi Plastic Surgery delivered a lecture titled “ECM-Based Facial Rejuvenation & Volumization with Particulated Human Acellular Dermal Matrix.” Dr. Shin covered topics ranging from the basic concepts of ADM and ECM to Lituo’s clinical data, its differences from existing biostimulators and HA fillers, and various clinical application cases.

On the 3rd, Dr. Choi Ho-sung delivered a lecture titled “Optimizing the Clinical Use of ECM Booster (hADM): Combination Protocols for Maximizing Outcomes.” He explained the clinical applications of Lituo, which is based on hADM, combination protocols with various procedures, and patient-specific treatment strategies.

L&C BIO is currently undergoing the approval process for Lituo in Thailand and is preparing to enter the market with its local partner, aiming for approval in the second half of this year. Building on this conference, L&C BIO plans to expand academic activities and product training for Thai medical professionals and pursue future collaborations with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and clinical programs in the region.

An L&C BIO representative stated, “Through this conference, we confirmed that medical professionals in Thailand and Southeast Asia are showing a high level of interest in Litou and ECM-based skin remodeling, even though the product is still in the pre-approval stage,” adding, “Even after obtaining approval in Thailand, we will not limit ourselves to simply supplying the product; instead, we will continue to expand our academic and educational activities so that local medical professionals can fully understand the clinical value and applications of ECM.”
