L&C BIO announced on the 9th that it participated in the 2026 Korean Society of Peripheral Nerve Surgery (KSSPN) conference held at Korea University College of Medicine on the 5th, where it showcased its key products, including MegaNerve Prime, MegaDerm, MegaDerm XE, and Megastat.
At the lunch symposium, Professor Kim Ji-hyung of Seoul National University Hospital served as the moderator, and Professor Kim Ji-seop of Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital presented his clinical experience with MegaNerve Prime. Professor Kim shared case studies of the product’s application in neuroma management and peripheral nerve reconstruction, along with long-term follow-up results.
MegaNerve Prime is a hydrated, ready-to-use nerve ECM product that can be stored at room temperature and used immediately without thawing. The company explained that it has enhanced preoperative preparation convenience by eliminating the thawing, frozen distribution, and storage management processes required for frozen products.
In terms of pricing, the reimbursement rate was set at approximately 60% of the existing reimbursement price. L&C BIO anticipates that this will help broaden the range of product options available to medical professionals while reducing the financial burden on patients.
Changes in the domestic supply environment were also cited as a factor driving market expansion. According to the company, “Avance,” a peripheral nerve reconstruction product from Axogen—a company listed on the U.S. Nasdaq—is experiencing supply gaps due to changes in the domestic supply and distribution environment. Consequently, interest is growing in domestically produced products that can ensure a stable supply and simplify preoperative preparation processes.
L&C BIO plans to expand the supply of MegaNerve Prime, primarily to major domestic hospitals, by leveraging the clinical experience shared at this conference. Through this, the company aims to highlight the competitiveness of domestically produced human tissue products in the field of peripheral nerve reconstruction and expand its Nerve ECM business.
An L&C BIO official stated, “This KSSPN Launch Symposium was particularly significant because it allowed us to share experiences using MegaNerve Prime with medical professionals who have actual clinical experience,” adding, “Based on the product’s characteristics—including room-temperature storage and ready-to-use functionality—we will continue to expand our presence in the domestic peripheral nerve reconstruction field.”
