'Odyssey' Tops Box Office for 6th Consecutive Week… Cumulative Attendance Reaches 10.26 Million

[Edaily Starin, Reporter Choi Hee-jae ] The movie "The Odyssey" continues its long-running success, remaining at the top of the box office even in its sixth week of release.

According to the Korean Film Council’s integrated computer network on the 10th, “The Odyssey” took the No. 1 spot at the box office on the 9th, drawing 76,409 viewers. Its cumulative audience count stands at 10,268,421.
In second place was the horror film “Obsession,” which drew 31,197 viewers that day. Its cumulative total stands at 270,724. Third place went to “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” (Spider-Man 4), which drew 13,647 viewers, bringing its cumulative total to 8,832,814.
Fourth place went to “The Drama,” starring Robert Pattinson and Zendaya. It drew 12,091 viewers that day, bringing its cumulative total to 16,877.
Fifth place went to director Na Hong-jin’s *Hope*. Currently in a 4DX re-release, *Hope* drew 5,318 viewers that day.
*The Odyssey* continues to hold an overwhelming lead in ticket sales. As of 9:06 a.m. that day, advance ticket sales for *The Odyssey* stood at 210,654 tickets, maintaining a level above 200,000.
Next, the upcoming film “The Assassin(s)” took second place with 54,366 tickets, while “The Intern” ranked third with 51,816 tickets. Fourth place went to “Obsession” (30,945 tickets), and fifth place to “Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub” (23,901 tickets).
With “The Odyssey” now in its sixth week of release, all eyes are on how long it will continue its reign at the top of the box office, backed by its overwhelming lead in advance ticket sales.
