[Edaily Reporter LEE DAWON ] Apartment communities will soon be able to measure 37 health indicators—including blood pressure, body composition, and stress levels—and even receive psychological counseling powered by artificial intelligence (AI). A pilot program is also being launched at construction sites to proactively manage the risk of illness by utilizing workers’ health data.

SAMSUNG C&T CORPORATION(028260) The Construction Division announced on the 15th that it has launched “Wellfy,” an AI wellness solution that integrates physical spaces with digital health technology.

Wellfy is a system that integrates a mobile app with offline facilities, allowing users to monitor their health and access related services in everyday spaces such as residential facilities and workplaces.

Users can check their health status, purchase food, and access mental health management services at the “Wellfy Station,” an offline facility. The station consists of three components: “Wellfy Body” for health measurements, “Wellfy Food” for purchasing personalized food items, and “Wellfy Mind” for stress management.

Wellpi Body measures a total of 37 health indicators, including blood pressure, stress levels, body composition, and skin condition. The measurement results are stored in a dedicated app, and personalized services are provided based on this data. The system also incorporates an AI model for predicting chronic diseases, which utilizes health screening data and medical expertise from Gangbuk Samsung Hospital.

With “Wellpi Mind,” users can manage their stress and mental state by conversing with AI. It utilizes an AI model trained on the counseling techniques of Professor Kwon Soo-young of Yonsei University to provide counseling and personalized meditation content. “Wellpi Food” allows users to purchase foods tailored to their individual needs on-site.

The first location to implement this service is Raemian Trini One in Seocho-gu, Seoul. Three types of Wellpi Stations were installed in the complex’s community area and linked to a mobile app, allowing residents to access services ranging from health measurements to food recommendations and mental health management.

The company is expanding the scope of application beyond apartment complexes to construction sites as well. A Wellpi Station has been installed at the new NCSoft RDI Center construction site in Pangyo to test its feasibility for workers. SAMSUNG C&T CORPORATION plans to refine the service based on data collected on-site and user demand.

The company intends to expand the service to offices, shopping centers, and recreational facilities in the future. It will add new devices to the current three types of Wellpi Stations and enhance personalized app services using accumulated data.
