[E-Daily Reporter Shin Ha-yeon ] Noeul ( Noul Co., Ltd.(376930)), a company specializing in AI-based blood and cancer diagnostics, announced on the 17th that it has signed a contract with a leading Indonesian medical device distributor to supply its AI-powered cervical cancer diagnostic solution, “miLab CER.” This marks the first time miLab CER has been contracted for supply in Indonesia.

Under this contract, Noul Co., Ltd. will gradually supply at least 50 miLab CER units to Indonesian medical institutions and lab chains over the next three years. The company plans to expand its network of hospitals and screening centers through a partner with local medical device distribution and regulatory approval capabilities, and also aims to enter the public procurement market in the future.

The Indonesian government is actively promoting the expansion of cervical cancer screening. According to Noul Co., Ltd., Indonesia sees approximately 37,000 new cases of cervical cancer and more than 20,000 deaths annually.

Starting this year, the Indonesian government plans to include cervical cancer screening in its free health screening program and expand screening to approximately 68 million women aged 30 to 69. The goal is to raise the screening rate—currently about 7%—to 75% by 2030.

Since last year, Noul Co., Ltd. has secured medical device approvals for miLab CER in major Southeast Asian countries, including the Philippines and Vietnam. With this supply agreement in Indonesia, the company plans to leverage its existing approvals to secure additional supply opportunities in key ASEAN countries.

miLab CER is a product that automates the processes of staining, washing, and interpreting cell slides—all necessary for cervical cancer diagnosis—within a single compact DEVICE. Noul Co., Ltd.’s diagnostic platform, “miLab,” is an on-device AI-based diagnostic system that automates the entire microscopy process, from specimen pretreatment to imaging and AI analysis.

In addition to cervical cancer, Noul Co., Ltd. is expanding its miLab diagnostic portfolio to include malaria and blood analysis. According to the company, miLab is currently used in over 30 countries worldwide through global pharmaceutical companies, medical institutions, diagnostic labs, and government agencies.
