According to her agency, DSP Media, on the 17th, Ahn Ye-eun will take the stage for a celebratory performance at the finals of the “2026 National Museum of Korea Costume Play: National Edition,” to be held on the 19th at the Open Plaza of the National Museum of Korea in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Ahn Ye-eun rose to fame through the 2015 SBS audition program “K-Pop Star 5” and has since released songs such as “Sangsahwa,” “Hongyeon,” and “Changgu.” Ahn Ye-eun has sung for numerous historical drama soundtracks and has built a unique musical world by interpreting Korean themes—such as folktales and ghost stories—through her own musical language. Last year, she also performed in a collaborative show with the Korean Folk Village’s summer festival, “Midnight Horror Village.” “Gukjungbak Makeup Play: National Edition” is an event showcasing makeup and performances that reinterpret historical artifacts. A representative from her agency said, “Ahn Ye-eun will compose her setlist around historical drama-style ballads to present a stage performance that showcases her unique vocal tone and lyrical sensibility,” expressing high expectations for the event.
