The new drama *Dive into You*, set to premiere on Disney+ and Channel A on the 26th, is a first-love rescue romance in which twin siblings Yoon Ha-na and Yoon Ha-ru—who discover they can travel back in time using an old camcorder—dive back through time to bring Jeong Woo-jae back to life.
In the drama, Yoon Ha-na’s (played by Kim Ji-yeon) twin brother Yoon Ha-ru (played by Jang Se-hyuk) and Yoon Ha-na’s agency CEO Seo Ye-rang (played by Moon Seung-yu) appear as a couple who have been in a long-term relationship for 10 years. While it may seem they were brought together by their connection to Yoon Ha-na, they actually became a couple after Seo Ye-rang fell for Yoon Ha-ru—who was a high school judo athlete on TV—and began fangirling over him.
Since then, the two have stood by each other’s side for a long time, maintaining their unwavering love. As viewers eagerly await the story of this extraordinary couple—Yoon Ha-ru, a world-conquering judo gold medalist, and Seo Ye-rang, an entertainment CEO with impeccable taste, business acumen, and wealth—an unexpected crisis strikes their once-solid relationship. After Jeong Woo-jae (played by Park Seo-ham) dies, Yoon Ha-ru time-travels back to the past with Yoon Ha-na.
Not only that, but once back in the past, Yoon Ha-ru ends up swapping bodies with his twin sister, Yoon Ha-na, leading to an unprecedented situation where their genders and personalities are completely reversed. In particular, the siblings have returned to the past to try to revive Jeong Woo-jae, who was Yoon Ha-na’s first love and Yoon Ha-ru’s closest friend. Consequently, every minor choice they make in an attempt to alter the future could affect the relationship between Yoon Ha-ru and Seo Ye-rang—who are destined to become lovers—which is why there is growing interest in their every move.
To prepare for a future that could change in unpredictable ways, Yoon Ha-ru goes to great lengths to ensure his relationship with his girlfriend, Seo Ye-rang, remains unchanged. “Dive for You” is garnering attention as a Korea-U.S.-Japan joint global project co-produced by Korea’s Dexter Pictures and Amuse Entertainment—the Korean subsidiary of Japan’s integrated entertainment company Amuse—with investment and production support from the global online video service (OTT) Rakuten Viki. All eyes are on the reaction this series will generate both domestically and internationally.
