[Edaily Reporter KIM SAE-MI ] Donghwa Pharmaceutical ( DongwhaPharm(000020)) announced on the 1st that it has appointed Director Jang Jin-hyuk as the new Head of the Global Division.

The newly appointed Division Head, Jang, is a global business expert with experience in overseas sales, business development, and overseas operations in Europe and the Americas. He began his career in manufacturing exports and went on to gain experience in overseas markets at global trade platforms and consumer goods companies.

Jang began his career in international sales in 2006 with the export team at KISWEL (Korea Welding Rod). He then moved to SAMWHA STEEL S.A., Samhwa Steel’s European subsidiary, in 2009, where he expanded his international business experience by overseeing business development and sales in the European market. In 2015, he worked in the New Business Development Team at Octo.

In 2019, he joined Tridge, a global agri-food trade platform company, where he was responsible for overseas business operations, expanding his career scope to the global market as a whole. In 2021, he co-founded Fridays Lab and served as Chief Operating Officer (COO), overseeing overall business operations.

He subsequently expanded his scope of activities into the consumer goods sector. In 2023, he led sales in the Americas as the Head of Americas Sales at Wish Company, and in 2025, he served as the Head of Marketing and Sales at “POPOW,” a creator marketing platform operated by Samyang Round Square.

Division Head Jang graduated from the Department of Spanish at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in 2007 and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business in 2019.
