[Edaily Starin YUN GI BACK Reporter] Singer-songwriter Lee Seung-yoon has announced his upcoming performance schedule, culminating in a year-end solo concert in Busan. After taking the stage following a sudden change in the headliner—which resulted in an extended set—he revealed the date he would reunite with his audience this December after finishing his final song.

Lee Seung-yoon appeared as the headliner on the Green Stage on the first day of the “2026 Busan International Rock Festival,” held at Samrak Ecological Park in Sasang-gu, Busan, on the 2nd. Accompanied by his band, he performed 17 songs over 80 minutes, bringing the opening day’s performances to a close.
This performance took place amid unexpected changes. With the headliner changing just one day before the opening, Lee Seung-yoon had to adjust his schedule, including extending his performance time. The fact that he filled the extended time with his own music added significance to his sudden assumption of the role of headliner for the festival’s opening day.
The first song was “Hero Collector.” He continued the flow of the performance with “Reversal,” “Waterfall,” “Into Ro,” “Caution: Gain,” and “Docking.” By arranging songs with diverse atmospheres—including “Restless Facade,” “A Heart Borrowed from Dawn,” and “Umb-Umb-Umb”—he conveyed both a powerful band sound and a range of emotional shifts.

There were also moments where he bridged the gap with the audience. While performing “Fireworks Time,” “Expensive Hangover,” and “Let’s Fly Away,” he walked into the audience to elicit their response. Notably, the lyrics of “Expensive Hangover” mentioned the Busan live club “Obangarde.” By naming a local venue in his song, he sent a message of support to Busan’s indie music scene. On the stage of a large-scale festival, he evoked memories of small, local performance spaces.
Toward the end of the performance, they ramped up the energy with “What I Wanted to Tell You” and “Punkanon.” They then moved on to “It Won’t Happen” and “You Smiled at Me” before closing the set with the final song, “To the Heart That Wants to Be Caught.”
After the song ended, the schedule for his solo concert appeared on the venue’s screen. The concert will take place over three days, from December 11 to 13. By announcing the next meeting immediately after wrapping up his festival performance, the day’s show also served as a preview of his year-end activities.
Lee Seung-yoon will continue his performances at university festivals and the “Grand Mint Festival 2026,” taking place on the 17th and 18th. There is also keen interest in how he will incorporate the stage experience he has gained at various festivals into the setlist for his year-end solo concert.
