Having postponed the wedding due to military service and business failures, he will walk down the aisle with his wife, who has stood by his side all this time.

On the 4th, KCM will hold his wedding ceremony with his wife, Bang Ye-won—who is nine years his junior—at the Floating Island on Sebit Island in Seocho-gu, Seoul. The ceremony will be held privately, with only family members from both sides and close friends invited. TV personality Yoo Jae-suk will serve as the master of ceremonies, and singer Kim Beom-soo will perform the wedding song.

This wedding is a bit special for the couple. Unlike the typical sequence of getting married and starting a family after dating, this ceremony comes after they have already lived as husband and wife for many years, raising three children together.

KCM and Ms. Bang started their family in 2012 with the birth of their first daughter, Su-yeon. At the time, KCM was serving in the military and was going through a difficult financial period, burdened by debts resulting from a failed business venture. Unable to afford a wedding, they postponed the ceremony, and time passed as various circumstances continued to pile up.

The couple registered their marriage in 2021, becoming legally married. Since then, they have raised a family of five—one son and two daughters, including their second daughter, Seo-yeon, and their third child, son Ha-on. It is reported that KCM had long been troubled by the fact that they had not yet held a wedding ceremony, and his wife had also long dreamed of wearing a wedding dress and exchanging vows. With this ceremony, KCM is finally keeping the promise he made to his wife 15 years ago.

Ahead of the wedding, the couple also released a wedding photo shoot. KCM shared his thoughts, saying, “Perhaps because it’s our wedding after 15 years, there are so many things to worry about and prepare for,” adding, “Since we’re having it late, we’ll cherish and love each other even more, and the five of us will live happily together for a long, long time.”

Meanwhile, KCM’s family is currently appearing on the KBS 2TV variety show *The Return of Superman*. Footage from the couple’s wedding—held after 15 years—is also scheduled to air on the program.
