IL announced on the 7th that it participated in “Smart Life Week 2026,” held at COEX in Seoul, alongside its affiliate IL ROBOTICS, and demonstrated the humanoid robot “IL Bot H2.”

At the event, held under the theme “Daily Life in the Future City Drawn by AI,” the two companies introduced natural language dialogue and real-time interaction capabilities. Through demonstrations of the robot exchanging conversations and performing services while sharing the same space with people, they showcased the potential for robot utilization in everyday living spaces.

Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon, who visited the exhibition, shook hands with the IL Bot H2 and experienced its interactive capabilities, such as conversational responses.

IL plans to use this exhibition not only to showcase the robot’s capabilities but also as an opportunity to collect operational data in real-world environments. The company intends to advance its technology by integrating data collected during the robot’s interactions with people and its surroundings into its physical AI learning models.

The company believes that accumulating field data—not just hardware—is crucial for enhancing the competitiveness of its humanoid robots. Its strategy is to secure diverse operational experiences and data by expanding the scope of robot applications to industrial sites and everyday spaces.

An IL official stated, “The true competitiveness of humanoid robots lies not just in hardware, but in how densely they can accumulate high-quality operational data while interacting with people and the environment in real-world settings.” The official added that the company intends to strengthen its competitiveness in the global physical AI market based on the data collected in the field.
