[Edaily Starin Gim Ga Yeong Reporter] Netflix’s variety show “Devil’s Plan Season 3” will premiere on November 10.
On the 13th, Netflix announced that “Devil’s Plan Season 3” will premiere on November 10. “Devil’s Plan: Dead Again,” the third season of “Devil’s Plan,” is a reality show that determines a single winner amid an expanded playing field and unpredictable variables, featuring both legends who have conquered the brain survival challenge and emerging powerhouse players. While Season 2, titled “Devil’s Plan: Death Room,” focused on the “Death Room”—the space where the prison-wing deathmatch takes place—Season 3 signifies a new game that includes the fierce comeback attempts of veteran contestants who have experienced elimination, the “death” of the survival competition.
Netflix also unveiled a poster along with the premiere date. Led by Jang Dong-min, the “God of Survival” who holds the unprecedented record of five consecutive survival show victories, the cast includes Hong Jin-ho, who has risen to become a top-tier professional poker player with cumulative winnings of 3 billion won; Oh Hyun-min, the “human calculator” and KAIST graduate who formed the legendary “Jang-Oh Alliance” with Jang Dong-min; Ha Seok-jin, the winner of “Devil’s Plan Season 1”; Jeong Hyun-kyu, the winner of “Devil’s Plan: Death Room” winner Jeong Hyun-kyu; Kim Dong-jae, a contestant on “Devil’s Plan Season 1” and a world-class poker player; rapper Seo Chul-gu from “Game of Blood 2 and 3”; and Yurisa, who has an IQ of 156, ranks in the top 1% of Mensa members, and won an Asian Ladies tournament just six months after taking up poker—all are showcasing their intense charisma. Next up are Shin Dong, who displayed god-like deductive skills in the “Great Escape” series; Hyun Kyung-ryeol, a Google employee and Seoul National University Ph.D. who showcased overwhelmingly intelligent gameplay on “Society Game”; John Park, a Northwestern University graduate and winner of “The Time Hotel”; Jaejae, the mastermind of “High School Detective Club”; Nucksal, an 18-year veteran rapper and the entertainment industry’s leading board game enthusiast; Lee Do, a star instructor from Seoul National University and cast member of “I’ve Never Dated, But I Want to,” singer-songwriter Stella Jang, a linguistic prodigy who graduated from a prestigious French university and speaks four languages, and Jeong Won-young, a hidden powerhouse who stood out in an office survival competition and has swept various board game tournaments, will also appear.
The teaser trailer released alongside the announcement builds anticipation for the sophisticated strategic maneuvers and breathtaking psychological battles among these formidable players. Shin Dong expresses surprise at the transformed “Devil’s Plan,” remarking, “It’s completely different, isn’t it?” Furthermore, the sheer presence of these seasoned professionals—who command attention simply by appearing on screen—adds to the tension. Above all, Jang Dong-min’s brimming confidence—expressed in the line, “You’re going to lose to me anyway”—foreshadows the fierce battle of wits among players competing solely for victory.
The Netflix variety show “Devil’s Plan” is a brain-survival game show in which 12 players from various professions live together for seven days to determine who is the sharpest mind. After Season 1 premiered in 2023, it garnered immense popularity both domestically and internationally, leading to the production of Season 3. With a diverse cast competing in Season 3, attention is focused on what stories will unfold.
“Devil’s Plan: Dead Again” will premiere on Tuesday, November 10.
