[Edaily Starin Reporter KIM HYUNSIK ] Live footage of the group BTS’s concert at Tokyo Dome in Japan will be broadcast on local TV channels.

Japan’s TBS announced on the 16th that it will exclusively broadcast the live footage of BTS’s “ARIRANG” World Tour concert, held at the Tokyo Dome on April 17, for the first time on TV via its pay-TV channel “TBS Channel 1” at 8:00 p.m. on the 28th of next month.
TBS plans to air “BTS Special – Precious New Chapter” throughout the month of November, featuring 28 BTS-related programs, including concerts, variety shows, and movies.
BTS drew an audience of approximately 110,000 people during their two-day concert at Tokyo Dome on April 17–18. At the time, they performed a diverse setlist featuring songs such as “Hooligan,” “Aliens,” “Like Animals,” “FAKE LOVE,” “SWIM,” and “IDOL.”
They also performed “Body To Body,” which incorporates the melody of the folk song “Arirang.” A track from their fifth studio album, “Body To Body” blends the melody of “Arirang” with a modern sound to express the seven members’ roots and identity. During the concert, a spectacular scene unfolded as the members and the audience sang “Arirang” together.
TBS highlighted the “Body To Body” performance as a major highlight of the live broadcast on its official website. Describing the scene where the mass sing-along of “Arirang” echoed throughout the Tokyo Dome, the network stated, “It was a breathtakingly overwhelming sight. It was truly a moment when the power of music united people’s hearts as one.”
Meanwhile, BTS will continue their world tour in Santiago, Chile, on the 14th and from the 16th to the 17th (local time). They will then visit Buenos Aires, Argentina, and São Paulo, Brazil.
