According to Han Ji-min’s agency, BH Entertainment, on the 17th, Mr. A, who was indicted on charges of threatening and insulting Han Ji-min, is the same person who was previously punished for stalking Choi Jung-hoon.
Judge Lee Ye-rim of the 27th Criminal Division of the Seoul Central District Court sentenced Person A, who was indicted on charges of intimidation and insult, to a fine of 6 million won the previous day.
A was previously brought to trial on charges of posting 19 threatening and insulting messages on his social media accounts between September and October 2024. In these posts, he tagged Han Ji-min and people associated with her and made statements such as, “I will sabotage the movie starring Han Ji-min.”
Prior to this, Mr. A had also been punished for stalking Choi Jung-hoon. At the time, Mr. A left hundreds of comments on Choi Jung-hoon’s personal blog containing profanity, demands to meet, and death threats. He also continued his stalking behavior, including visiting the vicinity of Choi Jung-hoon’s agency building. In the trial related to this case, Mr. A was ordered to pay a fine of 5 million won and complete a stalking treatment program.
