One of SamsungElectronics’ key focus areas in the European B2B market is commercial displays. In particular, the company is strengthening its business model—which integrates hardware and software—through “Samsung VXT,” a cloud-based digital signage platform. VXT is a solution that enables remote management of displays installed across multiple locations, as well as the creation and distribution of content. Its primary customers include companies operating retail chains, hotels, and restaurant franchises.
O2, a Czech mobile carrier, digitized 140 stores using SamsungElectronics’ displays and VXT. By replacing traditional paper advertisements with digital screens and remotely managing promotional content for each store, the company improved the efficiency of its marketing operations. This case study was presented at the Czech Business Summit.
SamsungElectronics has secured a strong competitive position in the global commercial display market. According to market research firm Omdia, SamsungElectronics maintained its top position for the 17th consecutive year last year, recording a 35.2% market share in the global commercial display market based on sales volume.
