[Edaily Reporter Shin Yeong-bin ] LG CNS (#LG CNS) has secured approximately 30,000 employee users by providing OpenAI’s enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) service, “ChatGPT Enterprise,” to domestic companies.

LG Corp. participated as the sole presenting company among OpenAI’s Korean partners at the “OpenAI DevDay Exchange Seoul” held in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the 22nd, where it presented case studies on the adoption of ChatGPT Enterprise.

In his presentation that day, Jin Yo-han, Executive Vice President and Head of the AI Center at LG Corp., stated, “AX is not simply about adopting high-performance AI models, but about comprehensively considering data preparation, governance, and the establishment of operational frameworks.” He added, “True AX can only be realized by transitioning existing corporate systems and workflows to an AI-based foundation.”

LG CNS has been serving as a reseller partner for OpenAI’s ChatGPT Enterprise since last February. It currently supplies ChatGPT Enterprise to companies across various industries, including finance, retail, biotechnology, and manufacturing, with approximately 30,000 employees at these companies using the service through LG CNS.

LG CNS does not limit its role to simply supplying ChatGPT Enterprise licenses to companies; it supports the entire process—from developing implementation strategies tailored to the corporate environment to providing technical support, employee training, practical application in daily work, adoption across the organization, and usage and cost management.

Given that each company has different data assets, existing IT systems, security policies, and AI capabilities, LG Corp. believes the process of integrating AI services into actual workflows after implementation is critical. LG Corp. is expanding the scope of generative AI usage for enterprises by working closely with clients on-site to identify applicable use cases and support their implementation.

The presentation also featured a case study of a law firm’s adoption of ChatGPT Enterprise. LG Corp. analyzed the feasibility and potential for AI application across various business areas, devised utilization plans tailored to the organization, and supported the internal rollout of ChatGPT Enterprise.

Alongside its AX business centered on its proprietary enterprise-grade agentic AI platform, “AgenticWorks,” LG Corp. is also expanding its collaboration with global AI companies such as OpenAI. The key focus is on supporting clients in integrating specific AI technologies with their existing systems and applying them to actual workflows during the adoption process.

The company is also expanding its collaboration with OpenAI in the cybersecurity field. LG CNS is pursuing participation as a partner in OpenAI’s cybersecurity collaboration program, “Daybreak.” Daybreak is a program that enables companies to apply OpenAI’s Frontier Cyber model to their own products and services for use in security tasks such as vulnerability detection, verification, and remediation.

Executive Vice President Jin stated, “LG CNS is strengthening collaboration with global AI partners such as OpenAI, alongside its AX business based on proprietary platforms like AgentikWorks,” adding, “We will support enterprise customers in applying AI to their actual workflows and expanding its use across the entire organization.”
