[E-Daily Reporter Kwon Oh Seok ] “Based on our partnership with Google and our real-time bidding (RTB) capabilities, we are seriously considering establishing overseas branches, primarily in Asia. After thorough on-site evaluations, we plan to establish a tangible foothold within the next year.” Lee Eun-hyun, CEO of ADforus Co., Ltd., is being interviewed at the company’s office in Gangnam-gu on the 2nd. Lee Eun-hyun, CEO of ADforus Co., Ltd., an ad-tech company, made these remarks during an interview with E-Daily on the 2nd, stating, “Our ultimate goal is to increase our market share in the global market rather than resting on our laurels with domestic sales alone.” Founded in 2014, ADforus Co., Ltd. is a digital advertising platform company that connects advertisers and media outlets in the online advertising market. Based on proprietary platforms such as LinkMine, Barista, GreenP, CubeMine, and M-Plate, the company provides various digital advertising services, including performance and reward-based advertising, as well as media monetization. The company offers customized performance-tracking marketing to advertisers with diverse objectives, whether they aim to drive app installs, sell products, or achieve other goals. ADforus Co., Ltd. was listed on KOSDAQ in August of last year. On a consolidated basis, the company has maintained steady performance, with revenue of 31.7 billion won and operating profit of 3.1 billion won in 2024, and revenue of 30.6 billion won and operating profit of 2.4 billion won in 2025. CEO Lee explained, “Since the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a clear trend toward advertisers preferring performance-based advertising, where they can see results with their own eyes,” adding, “From the very beginning, we have specialized in ad tech platforms that allow advertisers to directly track results such as app installs, user sign-ups, and product sales.” The company currently collaborates with numerous clients, including global big tech firms such as Temu and HanExpress, as well as Trip.com, MyRealTrip, and major domestic game companies. He further elaborated, “When advertisers run campaigns, they each set different key performance indicators (KPIs), and our core business is developing and providing a platform that ensures these diverse KPIs are fully achieved.” A key differentiator for ADforus Co., Ltd. is its status as a “GCPP (Google Certified Publishing Partner),” a Google advertising media partnership. CEO Lee emphasized, “While typical Google partnerships are often granted based on high ad spend, ADforus Co., Ltd. operates under a structure where we actually receive payment from Google.” He added, “Even though Google wants to run ads on high-quality Korean media outlets, it’s difficult for them to manage each one individually; therefore, they grant licenses only to certified companies that have passed strict evaluations covering technical capabilities, operational know-how, and quality scores.” CEO Lee’s vision is to expand overseas operations based on these capabilities. Initially, the company planned to use funds raised through last year’s IPO to establish or acquire overseas branches. CEO Lee stated, “Overseas revenue is gradually increasing, and unlike in the past, we now possess not only technological capabilities but also credibility, so I believe we have laid the groundwork for overseas expansion.” As of the first half of this year, export sales totaled approximately 1.5 billion won, already surpassing last year’s figure (approximately 1.3 billion won). In the first half of the year, the company also acquired On the Planet, a brand strategy consulting firm, and is expanding its data and artificial intelligence (AI)-based business consulting operations. CEO Lee said, “On the Planet is a company with exceptional creative capabilities in the fields of branding and advertising strategy. I am confident that by combining this with ADforus Co., Ltd.’s performance marketing know-how and data and AI capabilities, we can achieve much greater growth,” adding, “I expect this to be fully reflected in our third-quarter results and to generate significant synergy.” Since going public, the company has paid its first dividend of the year (250 won per share) and repurchased its own shares on two separate occasions, demonstrating its commitment to enhancing shareholder value. He added, “I believe that if the company continues to demonstrate solid performance and growth potential based on its strong financial foundation, the market will recognize our sincerity.”
