According to the Korean Film Council’s integrated computer network on the 2nd, the film “Final Interview” ranked first in overall advance ticket sales as of 10:15 a.m. that day.

“Final Interview” tells the story of six job candidates gathered for a final interview who discover mysterious envelopes containing revelations about each other, leading them to suspect one another and plunge into chaos. Rising stars Jo Yi-hyun, Kim Jae-won, Shin Seung-ho, Kang Yu-seok, Kwak Dong-yeon, and Bae Kang-hee star as the six finalists, generating high anticipation.

Director Kim Jeong-hoon, who captivated audiences with his genre-driven direction in films such as *The Pirates: The Goblin Flag*, *Detective: The Beginning*, and *A Petty Romance*, is at the helm.

“Final Interview” is generating anticipation with its fresh blend of the mystery genre and realistic themes like “employment” and “job interviews,” along with its intense suspense and unpredictable plot twists.

Author Akina Asakura, the original writer, described himself as “a long-time fan of Korean cinema” and expressed his anticipation for the Korean adaptation and film version.

As such, “The Final Interview” is generating buzz as a mystery film that combines a cast of rising stars with the realistic theme of job interviews. It opened in theaters nationwide on the 2nd.
