The group Xikers made this statement during the media showcase for their eighth mini-album, “ROUTE ZERO: The CALLING,” held at 4:00 p.m. on the 2nd at the Myeonghwa Live Hall in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.
Xikers is a group launched in March 2023 by KQ Entertainment, the agency behind the “global idol” group ATEEZ. Referred to as “ATEEZ’s younger brother group” and garnering attention even before their debut, they made headlines by rapidly entering the U.S. Billboard 200—the main album chart—with their debut album. The following year, they achieved the No. 1 spot on the Billboard World Albums chart.
The group, which has been expanding its fanbase through annual world tours, is releasing a new album six months after the release of their seventh mini-album, “ROUTE ZERO: The ORA,” on May 7.
The new album features a total of six tracks, including the title track “Dynamite” (DIENAMITE), as well as “Go,” “Mask Off,” “One,” “DUMB,” and “Sanctuary.”
Minjae emphasized, “We’ve captured the essence of CYKUS’s music. We’ll boldly unleash our energy as we promote these new songs.” Se-eun explained, “This album depicts the journey of members who were once scattered in different places coming together under one voice to move forward into an unfamiliar world.”

The title track, “Dynamite,” tells the story of CYKERS breaking free from established norms and stepping onto a new path to issue a bold warning to the world. CYKERS’ leader Minjae showcased his creative talents by participating in the lyrics, composition, and arrangement.
Minjae said, “It’s a glam rock track featuring a raw and addictive guitar riff,” adding, “It’s characterized by explosive energy.”
This marks the first time a song produced by Minjae has been selected as CYKER’s title track. Minjae shared, “I’m happy to have had this great opportunity to be deeply involved in the production. It’s very meaningful because it’s something I’ve aimed for since before our debut.”
Other members of the group, Sumin and Yechan, also contributed to the lyric-writing process. Yechan said, “After much deliberation, I prepared a rap that showcases CYKER’s unique character,” while Sumin added, “It’s the track that took the longest to complete among the album’s songs, so I’m particularly attached to it.”
Regarding the performance, Junmin explained, “The key point to watch for is the dynamic contrast as we navigate the intense beats.” Yoo-jun elaborated, “Didn’t the ATEEZ members receive a lot of love for the ‘BAD’ challenge? With the hope that CYKUS’s new song will also reach many people, we created a separate, simplified version of the challenge choreography.”

Another highlight worth noting is the surprise appearance of Lee Sung-woo from the band No Brain in the music video. Min-jae explained, “In line with the album’s main keyword, ‘the essence of music,’ which embodies a confident attitude, we asked Lee Sung-woo—whom we consider a legend—to appear in the video,” adding, “Now that we’ve formed this connection, I’d like to collaborate on music with him if a good opportunity arises in the future.”
Cyker will release all tracks from their new album via various online music platforms at 6:00 p.m. today. At 8:00 p.m., they will hold a fan showcase at the same venue where the media showcase took place.
The members cited securing their first No. 1 spot on a music show as their goal for this comeback, vowing, “We will give our all on every stage.”
Another point drawing attention is that their promotional period overlaps with that of ATEEZ, their immediate seniors, who are set to make a comeback on the 13th. Jeong-hoon emphasized, “I learned a lot by watching our seniors since my trainee days,” adding, “We’ll do our best to showcase CYKUS’s unique charm through this promotion.”
Min-jae stated, “We will firmly establish CYKER’s identity,” and added, “We hope you look forward to our energy, which has become even rougher and more intense.”
