Girl group RESCENE (Won-i, Liv, Minami, May, Jenna) expressed their determination for their comeback during the media showcase for their fourth mini-album, “PULSE,” held at 2:00 p.m. on the 3rd at the Woori WON Banking Hall in Blue Square, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
The members said in unison, “We prepared for this comeback with a pleasant sense of anticipation,” adding, “We will do our best to show you our new charms and how we’ve grown through this promotional run.”
Launched by The Muse Entertainment in March 2024, Lisenne has seen a surge in popularity this year after their debut track “LOVE ATTACK,” released in their first year, made a successful comeback on music charts.
The rise in popularity began when the members’ unique personalities started to gain attention through leader Won-i’s personal YouTube channel, “Hello, I’m Won-i. Nice to Meet You” (Anwonjalbu). In particular, Minami’s shout of “Geoje, Yaho!” went viral as a catchphrase, serving as the catalyst for the song’s resurgence.
Lisenne further boosted their popularity by achieving strong chart performance with their remake of KARA’s hit song “Pretty Girl,” released last July. Known as “the miracle of a mid-sized idol group,” this marks their first new release in about four months.

Woni laughed and said, “The word ‘popular’ still feels strange and even a bit embarrassing,” adding, “I’m simply grateful that so many people love our cheerful and bright image.”
Regarding the fact that some refer to the group as the “nation’s girl group,” May said, “I think it’s an overstatement,” but pledged, “We’ll do our best to live up to that title.”
Liv remarked, “Thanks to the love and attention you showed us during our last promotional run, these past four months have flown by. All the members have prepared for this comeback with one heart and one mind to live up to your expectations,” and added, “Please look forward to seeing a stronger and more mature Lisenne.”
◇ Comeback Promotions with a “Musk Scent” Themed Album
Titled “Pulse”—a word meaning “heartbeat”—this album features a total of five tracks, including the title track “With,” as well as “Finest Thing,” “Inside Out,” “MEME,” and “Dragon.”
Regarding the album title, Won-i explained, “It expresses the pounding of the heart when a scene you’ve long imagined unfolds before your eyes,” adding, “It also signifies that Lisenne’s heart has begun to beat strongly.”
Jena added, “As we receive so much love from everyone, all of our hearts are beating stronger than ever,” and said, “We’ll make the hearts of everyone watching us beat faster too.”

Minami said, “The scent of musk is like the body heat we share with our fans,” adding, “We poured our sincere wish into it—that many people would stay with us for a long time.”
The album’s title track, “With,” expresses the overwhelming emotions felt when finally meeting the person you’ve long dreamed of.
Liv introduced the song, saying, “Its charm lies in the progression—it starts with a lyrical intro and builds in intensity as it moves toward the chorus.”
Regarding the performance, Jenna explained, “We focused on showcasing the teamwork of the five members. There are many moves where we move in perfect unison, as if we were one body, in time with the beautiful melody,” adding, “Please look forward to the synergy that emerges when Lisenne comes together as one.”
“Pulse” is drawing even more attention as it marks the group’s first full-length album release in a year, following the release of their third mini-album, “Lip Bomb,” last November. As this is their first physical album release since their successful chart resurgence, sales trends are also a topic of interest. All tracks will be released at 6:00 p.m. today via various online music platforms.
Minami said, “I believe we’ve gained a new fan base thanks to those who have supported us for a long time,” adding, “We’ll do our best without losing sight of our original intentions, so I hope you’ll continue to watch us grow with warm hearts.”
