Revenue More Than Triples Year-Over-Year Following Integration with One Store
Company Reports Operating Loss of 4.8 Billion Won and Net Loss of 12.9 Billion Won
[Edaily Reporter An Yu-ri ] Action Square Co., Ltd.(205500)reported that its third-quarter revenue this year more than tripled year-over-year, driven by the impact of the One Store acquisition on its consolidated financial results.
NEXUS announced on the 3rd that its consolidated revenue for the third quarter of this year reached 32.9 billion won, a 257.4% increase year-over-year and a 467.3% increase quarter-over-quarter.
During the same period, the operating loss was 4.8 billion won, a decrease of approximately 400 million won from the previous quarter. The net loss was 12.9 billion won, marking a shift to a deficit.
Cumulative revenue for the first three quarters of this year totaled 50.3 billion won, a 100.1% increase compared to the same period last year.
Since acquiring One Store in June of this year, NEXUS has been developing a full-stack AI and blockchain gaming platform that encompasses game publishing, domestic and international distribution, and payment processing. In August, the company launched “One Store Global” in 122 countries, marking the start of its expansion into overseas distribution channels.
NEXUS is also moving forward with a name change to “ONE.” The company will discuss a proposal to amend its articles of incorporation to change its name to “ONE Corp.” at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on the 16th. The goal is to enhance the connection between its business and brand by incorporating “ONE”—a term used across all its services, including One Store—into the company name.
The company is also expanding its AI game distribution business. Last September, One Store opened its dedicated AI game section to all developers and is supporting monetization features through in-game purchases and advertising.
NEXUS CEO Jang Hyun-guk stated, “Growth is the most important factor in innovation,” adding, “We will continue to grow through mergers and acquisitions (M&A) while strengthening our organizational capabilities through AI Transformation (AX).”
