"Jumped right out of the coffin to pounce on Trump"... A flood of mockery, as if they’d been waiting for this

[Edaily Reporter Park Ji-hye ] As the U.S. midterm elections ended in a landslide victory for the Democrats, social media was flooded with “memes” mocking U.S. President Donald Trump and the Republican Party.

On the 4th, a video was posted on social media showing four men lifting President Trump and tossing him into a trash can labeled “Hazardous Waste.”
The official social media account of the Iranian Embassy in India shared the video with the brief caption, “U.S. Midterm Elections.”
This is interpreted as mocking the Republican Party’s defeat in the U.S. midterm elections by likening it to President Trump being thrown into a trash can.
A video also went viral on social media showing former Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei—who died in a U.S. airstrike—suddenly sitting up in his coffin, grabbing President Trump by the neck, and throwing him back into the coffin.
It appears to be an AI-generated video satirizing the fact that the war in Iran—which was supposed to end in a matter of weeks—has dragged on for nine months and ultimately led to this election defeat.
There is also a meme showing former U.S. presidents such as Barack Obama and Joe Biden bursting into laughter as they slap President Trump, who is leaning against a wall. This appears to be intended to criticize President Trump, who did not hesitate to use insulting language toward Democratic presidents to rally his base during the election campaign.

Actual photographs, rather than AI-generated or doctored videos, have also surfaced.
Next to the gold “TRUMP” sign engraved on the exterior of the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, the word “OUT” in blue was projected.
French visual artist Joanie Le Mercier unveiled this laser projection performance—which she had staged several weeks earlier—on the day of the midterm elections, and it quickly went viral on social media following the Republicans’ crushing defeat.

During a Q&A session with reporters the day after the midterm elections, President Trump was asked, “Do you agree with Vice President JD Vance’s statement that the war in Iran was the cause of the election defeat?” He replied, “I think that’s generally correct. (The war) caused gas prices to rise slightly for a short period.”
However, when asked if he was “considering replacing Secretary Hegses, who spearheaded the war with Iran,” he replied, “No. He’s doing a good job.”
When asked if the Democrats had raised the possibility of impeaching him, he replied, “No,” and warned, “I’m not worried in the least. If they do that, it will destroy the Democratic Party.”
