[Edaily Reporter KYUNG GYEYOUNG ] YoungoneHoldings(009970)announced on the 5th that it has provided financial donations and clothing to the “2026 Rwanda Medical Mission,” an international medical cooperation project led by Seoul Boramae Hospital.

The Rwanda Medical Mission is an international medical cooperation project through which Boramae Hospital provides training and medical technology to local medical staff in Rwanda. The ceremony to present the donations and clothing took place the previous day at Boramae Hospital in Dongjak-gu, Seoul. The donations will be used for the project, and the clothing will be distributed to local medical staff and volunteer teams.

Kim Dae-woo, Vice President of Medical Services at Boramae Hospital, explained the significance of this project, stating, “It is meaningful in enhancing the expertise of local medical staff and strengthening the foundation for providing sustainable medical services by sharing South Korea’s internationally renowned public healthcare technology.”

Youngone Corporation has already been engaged in social contribution activities, such as operating the 100-bed “KEPZ Trust Hospital” and the Chittagong College of Nursing in the KEPZ in Chittagong, Bangladesh. The group plans to continue its efforts to give back to neighbors and local communities.

An official from Youngone Corporation stated, “It is meaningful to be able to contribute to improving Rwanda’s healthcare environment,” adding, “We will continue to carry out various social contribution activities so that we can grow together with local communities both at home and abroad.”
