Tomato System announced on the 4th that it has supplied its AI-based test automation solution, ‘AIQBot,’ for Heungkuk Fire & Marine Insurance’s next-generation ‘Next Core’ system construction project. The ‘Next Core’ project is a large-scale digital transformation initiative designed to respond to the rapidly changing financial environment, and it is part of a mid-to-long-term strategy aimed at enhancing business flexibility and digital competitiveness.
Tomato Systems is supporting this transformation effort in two key areas: development and quality assurance.
With the UI/UX development platform ‘eXBuilder6’ already in place and leading system development, the addition of AIQBot has completed a structure where the entire lifecycle—from development to verification—is covered by the company’s own solutions. AIQBot supports both static testing, which checks compliance with standards and the state of source code implementation in real time during the coding phase, and dynamic testing, where AI automatically generates test cases to expand the scope of verification.
By moving away from the traditional approach of relying on manual human inspection for tens of thousands of screens and complex financial logic, and instead replacing repetitive testing with AI automation, the company expects to shorten development time and reduce human error.
A key strength is the integration structure that allows iQbot to immediately identify and inspect screens built with XBuilder 6. The company explains that even during the maintenance phase, it can automatically detect source code changes and quickly prevent any side effects that may arise during the modification process.
Cho Gil-ju, CEO of Tomato Systems, stated, “As digital transformation in the financial sector accelerates, we plan to expand our AI quality automation business across the financial, public, and corporate sectors based on this reference project.”
