Medipost Decides to Make an Additional Investment of 22.7 Billion Won in Subsidiary

[Edaily Reporter Shin Ha-yeon] #Medipost announced on the 4th that it has decided to make a cash investment of 22.734 billion won in its U.S. subsidiary, MEDIPOST, Inc. The scale of this investment corresponds to 9.1% of Medipost’s equity.

The number of shares to be acquired is 15 million, and following the acquisition, Medipost’s ownership stake in MEDIPOST, Inc. will remain at 100%. The scheduled acquisition date is the 30th of this month.

The investment funds are expected to be used for Phase 3 clinical research and development (R&D) costs and operating expenses to advance the commercialization of "Cartistem," a stem cell therapy for knee osteoarthritis, in the United States.
