Chaperone Presents ‘Nanomab’ Platform at Global ADC and Bia-Antibody Summit

These two summits serve as forums for sharing global technology trends and development strategies in the field of next-generation targeted therapies, including ADCs, bispecific antibodies, and T-cell engagers. A large number of researchers from major domestic and international pharmaceutical and biotech companies, including AstraZeneca, Boehringer Ingelheim, ZaimWorks, Adimab, ABL Bio, Hanmi Pharmaceutical, and Celltrion, will participate.
CEO Seong plans to introduce the company’s new drug development strategy utilizing the Nanomab platform and the key differentiators of its core pipeline. In particular, he will focus on how Nanomab can address the limitations of existing antibody-based ADCs and bispecific antibodies, such as insufficient tumor penetration, difficulties in pharmacokinetic management, complex manufacturing processes, and systemic toxicity.
Nanomab is an ultra-small single-domain antibody platform that is approximately one-tenth the size of conventional antibodies. Chaperone explains that, based on Nanomab’s high tissue penetration, structural stability, and modular design capabilities, the company has secured a platform capable of being expanded into various therapeutic formats, including bispecific and trispecific antibodies, Nanomab-drug conjugates (NDCs), and radiopharmaceuticals (RPTs).
At the World ADC Summit South Korea 2026, a presentation will be held under the theme “Nanobody-Drug Conjugates: Redefining Precision in Bispecific ADC Design.” During the presentation, Chaperone plans to unveil its development roadmap for the first-in-class candidate “PdRaxane,” along with a nanobody-based next-generation NDC design strategy aimed at addressing the tumor selectivity and pharmacokinetic limitations of existing ADCs. PdRaxane is a candidate drug that reengineers an albumin nanoparticle loaded with an anticancer agent into a Nanomab-based drug-conjugate format.
Chaperone is strengthening its intellectual property (IP) defenses by filing patents for key technologies related to PdRaxane. Through this, the company aims to proactively secure rights to its nanomab-based NDC technology and gain a competitive edge in future global partnering strategies, such as licensing out and joint development.
At the concurrently held “World Bispecific Antibody & T-Cell Engager Summit Korea 2026,” the company will present on the topic of “NanoMab: A Modular Platform for the Development of Next-Generation Bispecific Antibodies and NanoMab-Drug Conjugates.” Chaperone plans to highlight the unmet medical and technical needs identified during the development of next-generation bispecific antibodies and nanomab-based drug conjugates, and to share the scalability and commercialization potential of its nanomab platform.
One of Chaperone’s key pipeline candidates, “Papiliximab,” is a bispecific antibody candidate that simultaneously targets PD-L1 and CD47. Unlike existing immuno-oncology drugs, which have primarily focused on the T-cell-driven adaptive immune axis, Papiliximab is characterized by a dual-target strategy that activates both the innate and adaptive immune systems simultaneously. Based on Papiliximab’s unique combination of targets and potential for improved safety, the company is expanding its patent registrations in key countries, including Japan, to build a global IP portfolio.
A Chaperone representative stated, “Nanomab is not merely a smaller antibody; it is a modular platform that allows for the flexible design of various target combinations and drug-conjugation designs that were difficult to achieve with existing antibody technologies,” adding “Through this presentation at the Global Summit, we aim to highlight the technological competitiveness of our Nanomab-based bispecific antibodies and NDC pipeline, and we will actively expand opportunities for collaboration and commercialization with global pharmaceutical companies.”
