This volunteer activity was organized as part of the Nonghyup-wide “Nongsim Cheonsim (Farmers’ Hearts, Heaven’s Hearts) Movement.” About 20 NH Investment & Securities employees visited the farm to assist with bagging pears, a task that requires timely execution. NH Investment & Securities has been continuing its support for farming households through activities such as providing labor assistance during the busy farming season, operating direct farm-to-consumer markets, and supporting long-standing projects in partner villages, led by its in-house volunteer group. So far this year, the company has completed a total of seven rural volunteer activities and plans to continue providing labor assistance during the farming season in the second half of the year. Yoon Byung-woon, President of NH Investment & Securities, stated, “As a member of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (Nonghyup), which prioritizes the happiness of farmers above all else, NH Investment & Securities will strive to ensure that urban and rural areas grow together through continuous exchange.” He added, “We will spare no effort in supporting agricultural policy initiatives to provide practical assistance to farms facing labor shortages.”
