BIO USA is a major conference that brings together more than 1,500 pharmaceutical and biotech companies, as well as investment and research institutions, from over 70 countries. It serves as a platform for intensive business partnering meetings, technology and pipeline presentations, and discussions on joint research and technology transfer.
At this event, GoBioLab plans to present the development progress of its key pipelines and explore various collaboration opportunities, such as joint research and technology transfer, with global pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
In particular, the company intends to highlight its microbiome-based drug delivery system (mDDS) technology—which is designed to insert specific genes into gut microbiota to enable the direct production of therapeutic agents within the body—as part of its recent focus on next-generation drug delivery systems (DDS), with the aim of identifying potential partners.
The company intends to use the know-how it has accumulated through the development of existing microbiome therapeutics to expand its technological competitiveness into new modality areas such as mDDS, thereby broadening the scope of its collaborations in the global market.
A GoBioLab official stated, “BIO USA is a crucial platform where we can simultaneously gauge trends in the global biotech industry and identify collaboration needs,” adding, “Through this participation, we will showcase our accumulated R&D achievements and new drug development capabilities, and explore collaboration opportunities with various global players, particularly in future growth areas, to create new business opportunities.”
