Twenty-five companies participated in the event, operating a total of 98 booths. Visitors from diverse fan communities and age groups flocked to the venue, forming long lines at major booths. In particular, Daewon Media’s Yu-Gi-Oh! and Digimon card game booths ran out of purchase tickets by mid-morning. The One Piece card game booth, operated by Bandai Namco Korea, also sold out of its prepared merchandise within 30 minutes of the event’s start, demonstrating the high level of interest from the domestic card fanbase. Domestic and international card-related companies, including PSA, CCGAI, DAKA, MVPs, and Renaiss, also participated in the event. It is widely regarded as an opportunity to confirm the growth potential and global scalability of the domestic card market. The event also garnered a positive response from visitors by going beyond simple exhibitions and sales to incorporate entertainment elements. Various on-stage programs were held, including a talk show featuring a former South Korean national soccer team player, autograph sessions with professional baseball and volleyball players, autograph sessions with popular voice actors, and virtual YouTuber card game battles. A Daewon Media representative stated, “KCCF 2026 was more than just a card sales event; it was Korea’s first multi-faceted card expo that brought together diverse fan communities,” adding, “It was a symbolic event that simultaneously demonstrated the growth potential and global scalability of the domestic card industry.” The representative continued, “Despite being the inaugural event, 25 companies participated, and over 12,300 visitors attended over the two days,” adding, “With a sense of mission to represent Korea’s card culture, we will continue to grow this event into a global phenomenon that attracts attention both domestically and internationally.”
