The initiative reflects Lotte On’s commitment to serving as a bridge between producers and customers, ensuring that the freshness of the source and the producers’ dedication reach customers’ dining tables.
As a specialty food section introducing high-quality foods from across the country, it allows customers to go beyond simply purchasing products; they can also check information on producers and production regions and explore the stories behind the products as told directly by the producers. All products are eligible for free shipping, and the section plans to curate and showcase seasonal foods, including fresh, in-season ingredients and regional specialties.
To celebrate the launch, “Trial Specials”—affordable items priced under 10,000 won—will be offered every weekday. On Tuesday, the 23rd, Sangha Foods’ pickled gungchae (1 kg, 4,900 won) will be available, and on Wednesday, the 24th, Dawon Myeongga Foods’ young radish kimchi (1 kg, 7,900 won) will be offered in limited quantities. The “Trial Specials” is a program supported by Lotte On to introduce high-quality products to a wider customer base and help small business owners expand their online sales channels.
In addition, Lotte On operates the “Daily Special,” which unveils new products every day at midnight. It also features exclusive special-price items available only on Lotte On. Starting today, the platform will sell wild, hand-trimmed, flash-frozen red sea bream; Central Korean-style domestic dongchimi; olgaengi hangover soup; Haepung mugwort rice cakes; and seasoned perilla leaves.
In addition, the platform will feature octopus from Samcheok on the East Sea caught personally by Captain Seonghwa-ho; nutty pistachio manggae rice cakes; seasonal delicacies such as Jeolla-style sweet potato sprout kimchi; pickled Dolsan mustard greens from Yeosu; Gyeongsang-style beet and radish kimchi made with domestic ingredients by a kimchi master with 30 years of experience; and ginseng chicken soup with wild pine mushrooms and domestic glutinous rice.
Lee Kyung-jin, Head of the Growth Commerce Team at Lotte On, said, “‘Home-Cooked Meals’ is a specialty food section that goes beyond simply introducing great food to convey the producers’ dedication and stories to customers.” He added, “We will continue to expand our collaboration with outstanding producers nationwide and discover seasonal foods to provide customers with a new food shopping experience.” (
